Toronto City Council Agrees to Focus on Emotion-centered Programs for Dementia Care

Long Term Care General Manager, Reg Paul, has been asked by Toronto City Council to report on the potential for a full pilot project inspired by emotion-based programs. The city’s seniors advocate, Josh Matlow, who presented the motion said “city council recognized that residents with dementia in Toronto’s long term care homes deserve a far more creative, respectful and caring approach”
