Canadian Charter of Rights for People with Dementia Introduced

The Alzheimer Society has taken steps to address the need for a human rights based approach to dementia. The newly launched Canadian Charter of Rights for People with Dementia will address the stigma and discrimination that people living with dementia face. The charter acknowledges the rights of the person living with dementia, empowering them and improving their quality of life.
