‘Aging in Place’ certainly has many benefits. It offers people the chance to live in their own home and community as they age, allowing for independence and choice. It can, however, also present new challenges to seniors. The prospect of downsizing, which often involves leaving the family home, can be overwhelming and emotional. What to do with the crystal stemware, sterling silver and family heirlooms that often don’t appeal to the younger generation?
