“I’m hoping that one of the things the book establishes is that there is life after Alzheimer’s,” he says. These are the heartfelt words of Bruce McLean, a 91 year old former journalist who recently wrote the book “The Manana Treehouse” — a fictional love story — like the real-life one that inspired it — that is both touching and funny.
