About Montessori Dementia Program

We are Canada’s first non-profit Montessori Organization to offer the Montessori Dementia Program. The Montessori Dementia Program has been designed to assist family members, health care providers, Personal Support Workers, and volunteers who are supporting individuals living with early to mid-stage Dementia in their homes, respite care, adult day centers, retirement and long-term care residences.

Mission

Montessori Dementia Program trains adult learners to become adaptable, resourceful guides who possess the skills to meet the needs of people living with dementia. The course provides practical techniques to give the best possible quality of life for the person living with Dementia, and their caregivers.
